The Twilight Saga: New Moon is the latest film adaptation from the Twilight series of books for teens by author Stephenie Meyer. If you liked the first Twilight movie, you'll definitely want to see this continuation of the unlikely story of vampire romance. If you're one of the die-hard fans, you can't help but watch New Moon online without reading the movie reviews, and if vampires aren't your thing at all, never fear. This film is likely to bring in additional fan support for another type of monster altogether.

Though nearly the entire original cast returned for this movie, they worked under a new director. Chris Weitz, whose other directorial credits include About a Boy and American Pie, replaced former director Catherine Hardwicke at the start of filming. Coincidentally, his business partner and brother, Paul, was also hard at work as writer and director of his own recently released vampire tribute, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.

Director Weitz made it no secret during promotional interviews that New Moon would have a different look for much of the film. The predominant blues, grays and generally colder, darker colors that were characteristic of the Washington state setting for the first movie really grab your attention by the contrast to the bright red, gold and overall sunnier palette of the scenes filmed in Italy.

The second of the Twilight film series, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, will be remembered for the introduction of two new character groups, the werewolves and the Volturi (who are basically the head vampires in that neighborhood). If you're not already a Twilight devotee, you'll have a tough time deciding which of those your favorites are (and it is only fair to let you know, you CANNOT have it both ways in Twilight-dom!).
